previous | 13 June 2005 | next Digital Lawnmower: I just dug up a live recording of Thomas Dolby performing in London in '84 - I don't think it is the BBC recording of the Flat Earth tour: sounds like the same band and arrangements, shorter set list with only two tracks from the Flat Earth, maybe a warm-up gig before the actual tour? The recording isn't great, but it's better than the BBC recording - the defects can pass for barouque patina that fits nicely with that kind of sound-painting.
