I've heard of perhaps half of the artists in Visual Music exhibition at the Hirschhorn - I can't remember the last time I've been to a show where I've been excited by so many new [to me] discoveries. Artists I'm going to look into further: Also, in the basement with the Gyroscope selection: a three-channel video by Miguel Angel Rios, "A Morir ('ti Death), 2003." It looks good, sounds good, like a Robert Wilson opera.
